Upon successful completion of a course, attorneys will receive a certificate of completion that can be used to report to a state(s)' accrediting body. Some states require that a certificate of completion is mailed to the accrediting body, while other states require online entry of information from the certificate. For more information on the reporting process for each state, please take a look at our CLE requirements page. Below is an example of the information found on a certificate of completion.
Every certificate states the following:
- Course title.
- Time and date of completion.
- Credit amount.
- State credits apply to.
- Lawline.com information.
- Space for your bar number and signature.
- Course ID (Depending upon the state).
