If your CLE credit tracker looks incorrect, it may be one of two scenarios: 1) the dates of your tracker are set up incorrectly or your compliance group was chosen incorrectly, or 2) your state has specific format or credit type requirements that have not yet been met, even if the total number of credits completed is at or above your compliance requirement.
Reviewing and Editing the Dates on Your Tracker:
Start by opening up your CLE Credit Tracker and clicking on the States you are accredited in to practice law. Once you click on your State you will see your deadline dates automatically populated in the middle of the screen. Additionally, you can cycle to your previous or next reporting cycle as shown below.
However, if you are accredited in a State with compliance periods, you would simply choose your compliance period and the tracker will automatically populate for your use. Please see the screenshot below to help you.
Please note, only credits completed between the dates on the tracker will appear here. If your completed courses aren't included in the tracker, you may have completed them outside these dates.
Format and Credit Type Requirements in the Credit Tracker:
If you think you have completed all of your requirements for your current reporting cycle, but the tracker is still not showing as 100% after reviewing the compliance period dates, it may be because your state requires certain course formats or specialty credit types that have not yet been fulfilled.
For example, if your state requires you to take 24 total credits, including 12 live in-person, your credit tracker will not reflect 100% completion until you've taken 12 live in-person courses.
Or, if your state requires you to take 15 total credits, including 2 Ethics, your tracker will not be complete until those Ethics credits are taken.
Please note that temporary rule changes and individual exemptions from particular state requirements are not reflected in the Credit Tracker. If your state has temporarily relieved any live credit requirements for your current cycle, the tracker will not update to reflect these changes.
