No, Lawline does not report your CLE credits to California. Attorneys should report their compliance online through their My State Bar Profile. From there, attorneys will need to go to "Report MCLE" and follow the instructions for certifying compliance.
How To Self-Report Your Credits:
For every course that you complete with Lawline, you will receive a certificate of completion. For California, your certificate(s) of completion will contain the following:
- Course title
- Time and date of completion
- Credit amount
- Credit type
- Course format
- State in which credit was earned
- Space for bar number and attorney signature
- Lawline.com information
Attorneys are responsible for keeping certificates of attendance and a record of self-study activities. These records should be used to tally hours.
