Although there are no active changes to the Ohio CLE requirements due to Coronavirus, the state has updated its requirements for 2023 and beyond. The Supreme Court of Ohio has permanently lifted the CLE self-study caps for attorneys. Effective January 1, 2023, attorneys are allowed to complete their entire biennial CLE requirements through any combination of on demand, webcast, or in-person CLE events. There is no longer a limit on the number of credits attorneys can earn through distance learning.
