No, UT attorneys can complete 50% of their requirement (12 credits) with Lawline via On Demand, MP3, or Webcast programs. Live Webcast programs currently do not count for Verified E-CLE and are subject to the 50% credit maximum for Self-Study. Our Utah course catalog can be found here.
***Temporary Change: The Supreme Court of Utah issued an order suspending the traditional live in-person credit requirement for attorneys reporting in 2020 and 2021, allowing all required CLE to be fulfilled with online self-study via audio or video presentations, webcasts or computer interactive telephonic programs.
***Note: Lawyers with a compliance reporting period starting July 1, 2020, will start the new one-year compliance cycle on July 1, 2022, for the 2021-2022 reporting year. They must complete 24 credits including 2 Ethics and 1 Professionalism for their June 30, 2022 deadline.
