**IMPORTANT RULE CHANGE INFO**
The Supreme Court of Florida has amended Bar Rule 6-10.3. The following changes will go into effect on January 8, 2024:
-
CLE credit requirements are reduced from 33 to 30 per compliance period.
-
FL Bar members are no longer required to fulfill a “bias elimination” requirement.
-
FL Bar members are now required to complete a two-hour legal professionalism course produced by the Florida Bar.
Any “bias elimination” courses taken prior to January 8, 2024 will count toward a member’s fulfillment of their five-hour sub-requirement for the member’s applicable reporting cycle. For any bar member who has less than three months remaining in their CLE reporting cycle on January 8, 2024, the requirement to take the two-hour Bar-produced course on professionalism will not apply until the member’s subsequent reporting cycle.
**DUE TO THIS RULE CHANGE, EXPERIENCED FLORIDA ATTORNEYS WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THEIR FULL REQUIREMENT WITH LAWLINE.***
