Yes! New York attorneys can complete their full Newly Admitted requirement with Lawline through a combination of Live Webcasts, On Demand and in-person events. In each of your first two years of Bar admission, you'll need to complete 16 credits as follows:
- 3 Ethics & Professionalism CLE Credits, which can be done via Live Webcast on Lawline
- 7 Professional Practice CLE and/or Law Practice Management CLE credits, which can be completed in any format on Lawline
- 6 Skills CLE credits
- Beginning January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys will need to complete their skills credit via traditional live classroom setting or a fully interactive videoconference attended in a group setting.
- You can attend Lawline's Bridge the Gap event to get your Skills credits completed!
Please note: Our Pre-Recorded Webcasts do not meet the live requirement for Ethics or Skills. These courses will have a marker on them that says PRE-RECORDED, so please verify that you are selecting the correct course format for your Ethics and Skills programs.
Our New York course catalog can be found here.
