No, Newly Admitted Attorneys in Oregon cannot complete their full requirement with Lawline.
Newly admitted attorneys in Oregon are required to complete 15 CLE credits in the following credit categories:
- 2 Ethics - 1 Ethics credit must be devoted to Oregon Ethics and Professionalism
- 9 Practical Skills - 4 Practical Skills credits must be devoted to Oregon practice and procedure.
- 1 Substance Abuse & Mental Health
- A 3-credit OSB-approved introductory course in Access to Justice.
The introductory course in Access to Justice must be completed via an OSB-approved CLE program that is specifically designated as meeting this requirement. This program is not offered by Lawline at this time. Find approved programs to meet the Access to Justice requirement for new attorneys here.
The Ethics, Practical Skills, and Substance Abuse & Mental Health credits can all be completed on Lawline.
