No, Newly Admitted Attorneys cannot complete their requirement with Lawline.
North Carolina Newly Admitted Attorneys must complete a 12-hour Professionalism for New Attorneys program in the year the member is first required to meet the continuing legal education requirements. This course deals with law practice management, trust accounts, NC State Bar rules and requirements, professionalism and ethics, and the grievance process. Credit for this program is applied to a Newly Admitted Attorney’s 12-hour annual mandatory CLE credit requirement, and is not in addition to this requirements.
All 12 hours of the Professionalism for New Attorneys program must be completed through a live medium, which can include online live webcasts. However, Lawline does not offer this program at this time.
